I'm in the midst of an friendly arguement with a Liberal who was 1) concerned that GWB directly funded the Swift Boat Vets and 2) convinced that funding for the Dems is mostly on the Up and Up. Wanted to get my facts straight when I came across this web page and thought I'd better run it past the Freepers.

Absolutely stunning. I've written grants and have known about the proclivities of many foundations but this web site is one I've never seen before. Thanks for finding and posting it.

John O'Neill is a DEMOCRAT - voted for Clinton and Gore.

This actually might explain why the left was so outraged at him .. not just because he attacked Kerry - but because he was a democrat.

According to O'Neill's book - "Unfit for Command" - he explains all that - and he explains why his "band of brothers" were committed to defeating Kerry. It was not to support Bush - it was to defeat Kerry - and it wouldn't have mattered who Kerry was running against.

I saw him state on TV that he had no relationship with President Bush - and was never contacted by the President.

O'Neill's book is a treasure trove of information. If people would be willing to read it - they might be more properly informed. However, if people refuse to be informed .. what can you do? But .. don't stop feeding them the correct information. A few quotes from the book might help.
