You are very blessed to have such a DA. Even so, my point remains: He or she would have to agree in advance to a) not seek the death penalty; and b) not seek a sentence greater than 30 years to secure extradition form Mexico. Mexico is claiming sovereignty of the US, with the full acquiensence of our political leaders.
Hi ... where do you get the 30 year figure? I haven't read that anywhere so help me out.
Thanks.
30 years is the maximum sentence in Mexico for murder. The death penalty is completely abolished, of course. The Mexican regime considers any sentence of more than 30 years meted out to a Mexican citizen (all people of Mexican descent are considered Mexican, whether they are here illegally or their families have been US citizens for generations) as "cruel and unusual punishment."
There is an attorney by the name of Juan Mann who was written numerous articles on the subject.
Thanks for the information and I'll make a note of Juan Mann to Google for some of his articles at an earlier hour. ; >
The Mexican regime (one can hardly call it a government) refuses to extradite anyone to the US who faces a term of more than 30 years.

That's a great find. You should post the entire text or even start a new thread with the text.
OK - will do! Start another thread that is.
