Dean: 'I Hate Republicans'
NewsMax.com ^ | 1/30/05 | Carl Limbacher

Posted on 01/30/2005 7:55:32 AM PST by kattracks

The frontrunner in the race to head up the so-called party of compassion and understanding said unabashedly on Saturday that he "hates" the opposition.

"I hate the Republicans and everything they stand for," former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean told Democrats gathered at a Manhattan hotel, in quotes picked up by the New York Daily News. He and six other candidates came to address the final DNC forum before the Feb. 12 vote for chairman.

Dean said that despite his hatred for the GOP, he "admires" their discipline and their organization.

But he cautioned his Democratic audience that their party shouldn't become "Republican lite."

"We can talk about our faith, but we cannot change our faith," he said. "We need to be people of conviction."

Howard Dean is certifiably insane. If the Dems want a lunatic running their party they have the right guy.

I agree, and the resulting rift among Democrats is very entertaining. I really enjoy watching the Deaniacs debate the DLC types over in DUmmyland...

"We can talk about our faith, but we cannot change our faith," he said. "We need to be people of conviction."

Exactly what are Democrat convictions?

The most important core conviction is that the US is the foundation of evil in the world and must be despised. The sooner the United States can be expunged from the earth, the better.

American institutions (specifically) and western institutions (generally) are evil and must be expunged. These include but are not limited to, the nuclear family, ANY Christian religion, the Boy Scouts of America, classical liberal education, the enlightenment, the Constitution to the extent that it has any meaning, private property and the US military.

Mostly, THE core conviction of a Democrat is to hate real people. A democrat must love humanity but hate people. And America, never forget that, hate America above all else.

>> "We need to be people of conviction."<<

Coming from a party that HAS no convictions. . . .this is a tall order, indeed.

The king of the unabashed socialist yawp as DNC Chairman? Christmas comes twice for us in 2005! Dr. Dean is truly a loose cannon. I look forward to watching him careen about, wreaking havoc on the structural integrity of the SS Democrat Party, a vessel already listing very hard to port. When assisted at the helm by "Skipper" Kennedy and "Thurston Howell("Jehnjis Kaaaan") Kerry, I can almost hear the theme music wafting over the waves..."a three hour tour".
