I think it is more than that. It has been said that to be a good liar one must be extremely intelligent, for a good liar must be able to remember not only the truth but also the lie he as told. John F. Kerry has told far too many lies for his feeble mind to retain.
No to be disputatious about it, but that is what I meant by "the ability to double-talk".
