butbutbut isn't that ideological empirialism, to assume that our system is better than any other, and to assume that any steps towards "our ways" is "advancement"?

(No wonder liberals are always so confused, bitter, and angry)

If "our ways" means not getting beaten on the feet by a baseball bat for hours, (as Saddams sons liked to do to his subjects), but a vote out of tyranny, then "our ways" refer to the very definition of human need for fair government.
