Republicans in MA just need to be able to have hope that the tyranny of the left can be overcome, then they will nominate a winner.
When the tyranny of the left is comprised of labor unions and colleges, it's hard to get going. They finally have a good leader in Mitt Romney, but the years of poor leadership that preceded him have left him very little infrastructure to rebuild the party. Couple that with a left leaning media and a typically corrupt/Democratic-infested state government and you have very little hope of electing qualified candidates, never mind jettisoning our two lay-about senators. The solution for most MA conservatives is to give up and move to NH.
