I guess Jersey City prosecutors don't learn about Occam's Razor. This seems to me to be a case of lets ignore the obvious (unpalatable) motive and go with a possible yet unlikely one. This case is shameful.

Silly murderers - they should have taken the jewelry. That way the motive would be listed as robbery instead of hate, and they would get a slap on the wrist if caught.
