Are you referring to geothermal heat?

Ground source? Doesn't that have a practical life of 10-12 years?

I have no idea what the "recharge" period would be.

Geothermal; that's what I use for my house - about 60% cheaper than conventional heating, silent and works great.

"allowed"? It's my property.
