i don't think the elites of mexico have figured out yet
the anger about this issue in the united states.
I just took a cruise to Mexico. I was shocked and outraged at how unprotected I found our border.
There was no one to talk to about this issue, and I wouldn't know what to say if there was, but I can't stress enough just how unsafe we really are from anyone who wants to enter from Mexico.
To stress just how pathetic the border control was, There were liberals talking about it.
I don't think President Bush has figured it out yet either. The good thing about Rush talking about it is that he is really just a reflection of what us down here in the masses are asying to each other. Unlike us though, his voice is heard and paid attention to.
As for that rubbish about illegals performing a necessary service by taking jobs that Americans won't do, I say stop paying able bodied Americans to sit on their butts and those jobs will start looking a lot more attractive.
You're right. I heard about the Mexican reaction to Vicente Fox visiting Ciudad Juarez --- people were kicking the car he was in, pounding on it, shouting at him --- and I felt like going over there and joining in. It would be awfully hard at this point for the Mexican oligarchs to gather up support of Americans to go over and fight and kill their peasants to keep them in power --- yet that's what they'll expect us to do.
