Plenty of money but no message, or at least no positive message.

Remeber 4 years ago, when the GOP outspent the Dems? The press was contstantly shreiking about how money had corrupted the process. Now they have fallen silent.. How strange.

I doubt the GOP actually outspent the Dems 4 years ago, either.

Anyone want to take a guess what Shelby is planning to do with all that moolah? He is an aging Senator in a safe, Reoublican seat. He is a committee chairman, but he's not really a big shot in the GOP party structure. Can't figure he's got presidential ambitions. (He doesn't, does he?) And he's sitting on the biggest warchest besides Kerry. Any guesses?

The 'rats spent heavily and lost just as heavily. I love it when a plan comes together.

Hehehe, me too. Well, at least they can feel good about unloading themselves of those greebacks, and enriching the liberal media. Wealth redistribution at it's finest. Soaking those poor dog-food eating democrats.. oh wait, they are the smarter ones, and the more talented ones right?, and sending their pennies to the pockets of Billionaire Soros enterprises...HAAAAAAAA... OHHHHHHHHH, SWEET MYSTERY OF LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Typical socialist spending model...

spend big money / get bad results / throw more money at problem

How many seats would they have lost without spending all that money?

>> OHHHHHHHHH, SWEET MYSTERY OF LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!<< Speaking of Hillary...

(For those who don't get it, the bride of the Frankenstein monster, in Young Frankenstein, sang that song. Now for something you really don't want to think of Hillary Clinton in connection with: She was inspired to, because the monster was, ahem, anatomically proportionate.)

I'd bet Republicans could've competed very strongly in WI, CA, WA, IA, CO, ND and NV if they could've matched Democrats dollar for dollar.

Plenty of money but no message, or at least no positive message.

Exactly. Democrats spent a significant amount of time after the November election complaining that they lost because they didn't get their message out. I think Americans heard their message loud and clear.

:) You got it!! Yes, Madeline Kahn played the part, sang the song, quite nicely too. (One of my favorite movies of all time...)

CA Boxer 14502 Marin 1180

That entry clearly illustrates and confirms the complete invisibility of the actual Republican candidate, er ... <crickets> ... </crickets> right, Bill Jones.

yeah, and the way they're acting, they're going into 2006 trying to figure out what color to paint the same pig we didn't buy this time.
