The title of this thread is:

"Bush Seeks to Boost IRS Enforcement Budget"

To which you replied:

"What happened to tax reform and abolishing IRS?"

Now what's a THINKING REASONABLE PERSON to assume from that post?

Unless, of course, "What happened to tax reform and abolishing IRS?" has a different meaning in your world.

every self-incorporated person I know in the NY metro area leases a luxury car like a Mercedes for their personal use, and writes it off as a business expense. Its the write-offs taken by these self incorporated people that involves much of the tax evasion. Compliance amongst W2 wages earners and people who earn investment income on 1099s and have simple deductions like mortgages is likely very high - they are paying full freight.

He doesn't fund the border patrol. He does fund the IRS agents with guns.

Screw him. Maybe if there were a wealth tax instead of an income tax the people who run the world would not be so eager to shove it up our asses. http://www.yahoo.com/_ylh=X3oDMTB2MXQ5MTU3BF9TAzI3MTYxNDkEdGVzdAMwBHRtcGwDaW5kZXgtaWU-/s/228594
I have nothing against money or people who make it. I just have a problem with the ruling class in this country trying to block the rest of us from becoming wealthy.

Wait just a second here. I thought Bush was gonna try and eliminate the IRS. This is one idea that needs to be deep-sixed right now.

In Colorado you will pay $1100 as your monthly health care premium. Why so high? To pay for the health care of illegal immigrants. You don't think the doctors are going to absorb that do you?

This is a disgrace.
Let's hope the House, at least, is on the taxpayers' side.
