Yeah the avalanche is an abomination. It is a shame it is considered a truck/SUV. not to mention the blinker lights above the headlights make it look like it has eyebrows.

Ya mean sort of like the early to mid-'60s Chevrolet Apache trucks?
I just went and had a look. I can't agree that the plasticated Avalanche looks better than the plain one. The plain one just looks a little silly, while the plastic-clad one looks like a "Transformer".
