If he is confirmed today, I will bet you anything it's because of the SOTU being tonight. Otherwise, there would be story after story in at least SOME media about the senseless delay of Judge Gonzalez's confirmation on the day of Bush's big speech, angering "moderates" who want everyone to just get along and who hate partisan bickering, and angering Hispanic Americans as well. Hehehe
