I heard that terrorist attacks in Iraq are down to 1/3 of what they were pre-election. There was a picture of 2 masked "insurgents" on a prominent magazine cover this week. My first thought was, they wear masks because they are afraid people would see how stupid they were, or how just plain butt-ugly!!!

Osama's "holy war" is about to come to an end.....

I'm not quite that optomistic. I think they'll fight on in Iraq, in hope that the process that began on Sunday will derail somewhere along the line. But the view of them as dead-enders sticks a lot better now.
