"GWB has no damned right to parade our troops around the world and let them get the crap shot out of them while leaving our own borders vunerable. ...so the sock-puppets in the Republican Party will follow ... "

So we see where you are coming from.

Connecticut is such a tiny little state you should personally know your state officials. Why don't you complain to them about illegal aliens in Connecticut. Your state and local police have authority to bust employers of illegal aliens. CBP will train them free of charge if you want.

If they balk, try organizing other members of your trade to put pressure on them to enforce the immigration laws at least in your county in your trade.

Your state is so minuscule you could walk door to door with petitions.

Wouldn't that be more productive than whining on FR about Bush?

If you and your state and local governments don't care to solve your own problems, you shouldn't bitch about others not solving them for you.

"So we see where you are coming from."

Yes, exactly. You see that my state is being overe run with illegals...even her...in the northeast...my "tiny" state is effected by this problem.

" Wouldn't that be more productive than whining on FR about Bush?"

Nice. Wouldnt YOU be more effective in joining La Raza?

LOL

"If you and your state and local governments don't care to solve your own problems, you shouldn't bitch about others not solving them for you."

Well, the simpleton has spoken again. The problem stems from two areas.....Washington, and our border states. If you can not figure this out...you might as well go back to basket weaving or watching wet paint get dry.

How would you stop the illegal aliens?

You have some interesting ideas that would no doubt work. It would be difficult to do because of resistance by the Dems and the media. Both favor the swarms of illegals who overrun our country and consume our resources. Almost as effective would be to insist on the enforce of laws already on the books and beefing up the INS, Border Patrol, and Customs so that they can do the job. Even then many blue local governments would refuse to cooperate. Too much libralizing goin'on out der.

Of course Bush is protecting the current system for those at or nearing retirement to blunt the criticism of those against change. Secondly, for those people 55 and over there is not enough time for that small amount of money to amount to much even with compounding. Time is the friend of compound interest, making interest on interest, plus the principal. That is why it is a much better deal for younger people.

Dear Mr. or Ms. DoughtyOne :-)

You must send this via hard copies to the President, with cc's to the VP and other pertinent staff and cabinet members, as well as your congresspersons, Senators, and pertinent congressional committee members! Better yet, make it an online petition so we can co-sign with you. My sentiments coincide with every line, including sadly, this one:

And I might add, you side with them against us. Why? What did we do to deserve this?
