can you fill me in? Who exactly is ruling on what?

My only knock on Sound Politics is they haven't detailed the legal schedule repeatedly. Got your orange ready?

A judge in some Eastern county is hearing the Rossi suit, which is an official CONTEST of the election. The judge will rule on a few things, we speculate including:

1. Is the judicial system or the legislature the place where election CONTESTS are taken and settled?

2. Has Rossi met the legal requirements to have his CONTEST legal action heard?

3. (Maybe) does the suit have merit, has he proved the charges?

It's possible he will say: Yes, it's the courts job. Yes, Rossi followed the applicable rules and regulations. Yes, I am going to rule on the merits. And Yes, the election was not legitimate and I am "setting it aside".

That's the dream! It COULD happen, in part or in whole, today.
