When the free trade agreements we sign with other countries include riders that state that the UN ILO is the authority for all labor law, labor claims and labor disputes in order for the treaty to be enacted, that is dissolving our sovereignty.
The problem is, for people who don't want to see the truth, they hide the truth in plain sight. Many of their documents are on the Internet and much of our federal and state agencies are implementing their plans for sustainable development, critical areas habitats, wetlands, smart growth, transportation hubs, regional government etc.
You never heard many of those terms before the UN began pushing sustainable development, because the idea behind many of them are contrary to individual rights and personal freedom. But if you don't value either, you will continue to deny the UN has power to dissolve US sovereignty. It has power because our federal government has signed treaties agreeing to it, and it is doing it.
Look at the law of the sea LOST threads on this site. Look at the Endangered species act, a law derived from a UN treaty that destroys property rights, look at smart growth in our cities, the concept coming from the AIA who got it from the United Nations conference on human habitat. Look at all the "framework agreements" on trade, environment, capacity building, infrastructure development and education. All from the UN. All designed to destroy sovereignty and put a global government to rule over all.

"that is dissolving our sovereignty"
NO IT'S NOT .. who told you that!
I still think this is a kook conspiracy theory - so you'll have to find someone else to argue with.

What a lot of folks don't understand, it's not necessary or required to actually own something to control it.

Treaties don't override the Constitution. But you and a bunch of liberals believe it does.
