That would be a good excuse to get him out of the US.

I give up on the Nobel committee, but I like this guy's point-of-view.

No matter how much he deserves to be, George Bush won’t be in Norway next December. But by next December, the world will be a freer and more peaceful place thanks to him.

President Bush doesn't want an award ... he just wants peace

He especially doesn't want an award from an organization of hypocrites.

The Nobel Peace Prize has become more insult than honor.

I agree 100%, If Bush was to be named for it, I would imagine he would say he couldn't attend the ceremony because of his prior commitment to attend a T-Ball game on the South Lawn of the White House :-)

Full moon isn't till Tuesday I think

My guess is maybe the left ain't to happy with the week they've had :0)

That .. or it's a bunch of college kiddies with too much time on their hands

And from the few threads I've seen and what they wrote .. I'm leaning toward the brats playing on the computers that mommy and daddy bought for them

Thanks! This guy makes some interesting points. And he is quite right...W won't get the prize, but no one deserves it more.

Agreed. I was thinking this during the SOU- no one deserves the Nobel Peace Prize more than W. And in another 20 years when the world is a much peaceful place that will be very evident.

What a great article, thanks for the ping. Who gives a rats butt about the Nobel award any more? They've made it meaningless.

Fascinating stuff about Iran.

**President Bush doesn't want an award ... he just wants peace**

I agree he does not care about his legacy just getting the job done and making the world a freer and safer place.

Can you get it posthumously? If so that is a possibility
