Sounds like I'd be well advised to get a gun to carry around with me in my car lest I encounter any of these red-light runners we're gonna' have, so I can defend myself.
Like if the law isn't going to protect you, there's no choice but to exercise the Second Amendment.
And having a firearm available, should you need it, is a good thing. Just ask anybody around here . . . . . .
"Sounds like I'd be well advised to get a gun to carry around with me in my car lest I encounter any of these red-light runners we're gonna' have, so I can defend myself."
How big of a gun would it take to stop a motor vehicle as it runs a red light before it hits you? And can you really draw that fast?
Fear not, Red light runners who do not obey the laws of the road are bound to obey the laws of physics. Motorcycle drivers more than others.
Get the gun anyways. : )
I make it a point never to be the first through an intersection after a light change without first checking left and right. Yesterday a gentleman infront of me at a stop light had to slam on his brakes for a left turning bozo who failed to yield. When the light turned green, he turned left, right in front of the two traffic lanes going straight.
Well, now you have the liberty to be in fear!
Finally! Thank G-d above!
Did the red-light cameras really make you feel safer? They were only at a very few intersections anyway. I'm glad they're gone, not because the red-light cameras were such a bad thing, but I'm afraid they will lead to speed cameras, which are a bad thing.
Yeah, those freakin' communist red light runners are the most dangerous action going! Get a life!
