The ACLU seldom attacks any entity with major influence and political power. Instead, it wages warfare on small towns, cities of little wealth, school districts, and nonprofit organizations. It attacks them with threatened or actual litigation, often winning unwarranted settlements from public officials and organizations afraid of extensive court battles.

The ACLU should be considered a greater enemy to the Republic than al Qaeda, yet the US government itself actually contributes to it's budget.

WHY??

We should start by looking at where these communist thugs get their money. Then we can bring pressure in Congress to fund defund them as an organization of religious bigots.

These frivolous lawsuits that the ACLU launches have very little support with the public at large. So where does the ACLU get the money to function from?

A lot of the money comes from Hollywood. Norman Lear started People for the American Way, which is a kind of sister organization. The Scopes Monkey Trial was the ACLUs first big case, and was hyped in "Inherit the Wind." The fictionalized account in ITW leaves out that the ACLU actually spent quite a bit of time bugging the DA to file charges, as they didn't really want to have anything to do with the case. As is usual, they found a teacher, who would agree to get more and more outragious, until they forced prosecution. Then the story was "Evil small town bigots persecute poor teacher." They've been using this same playbook for years.

We can start with the US government itself...

It's up to the President to order the DoJ to launch an investigation into the matter, which of course could prove the ACLU is a bigoted organization who selectively harrasses all things Christian.

P.S. - Don't hold your breath.

When the ACLU files a suit against a municipality/county/school district or any other entity that receives tax money, and the case is a "civil rights issue", if they win their judgment, the taxpayers, according to the civil rights law, pay their expenses. Yes -- WE are funding the ACLU.

It's time to say "No" to all this. Let's take these criminals out. Let's not leave it to "others".

I abhorr much of what the ACLU does, but Adam and Eve and creationism has no place in biology class.

It is time, and past time, to call the ACLU to account for their soft (or maybe not so soft) bigotry, using the same "hate crime" laws they were so instrumental in getting into the statutes of various states. This is notat all about a black man being lynched by his "yellow-dog" Democrat neighbors, this is about erosion of the meanings of words themselves. Hate is hate, regardless of the backgrund or physical traits of the person toward whom it is directed, or the individual who is the instrument of that hatred.

It IS "time; However, the U.S. Government and DoJ has NOT seen fit to roadblock any of the ACLU's selective harrassment of the nation's Christians and their (and the nation's) time-honored traditions.

Christian legal organizations must go after the ACLU and government with the same zeal that it takes to wage a war. And make no mistake -- this IS war.
