Make up your mind. Spanking *is* corporeal punishment. And different "tools and implements" have been used by parents over the course of centuries to spank their children. To be upset over that is absurd.

Prov 29:15 "The rod and reproof give wisdom, but a child who gets his own way brings shame to his mother."
Prov 29:17 "Correct your son, and he will give you comfort; he will also delight your soul."
