Eldritch is an Oxford graduate who speaks at least five languages. He's also an avowed anarcho-syndicalist; his politics and his legendary self-righteousness make him suffer from periodic fits of anti-American ranting (see website for details). Thanks for the info. He is a very talented person obviously. Mother Russia was a great song. I really enjoyed the Sisters of Mercy in the early to mid nineties. I once organized a party called "Cybergoth" which featured many Sisters of Mercy songs.

You've now piqued my interest in his philosophical outlook. I'll do some more research now.
