I am new here. I am the type that has always emailed public officials and other nuts in the news when I get riled.

But last week after emailing this Churchill guy it occurred to me that it might be more satisfying to vent somewhere like this place. Usually when I email somebody like that I don't expect a reply or even that the email will be read.

So I emailed the prof and the board of regents and some politicians about Ward's earlier statements in the news last week. None replied, of course. But I reposted the email in some other related forum here on FreeRepublic.com and a couple people read it and commented.

It was refreshing to have feedback.
