A Warren County elementary teacher faces a maximum 100 years in prison if she's convicted of having a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old boy.
Only news two was in Fentress County as 27-year-old Pamela Rogers Turner was arrested and charged with 15 counts of sexual battery by an authority figure and 13 counts of statutory rape. District Attorney General Dale Potter said that Turner, a physical education teacher and coach at Centertown Elementary, had an ongoing sexual relationship with a male student. Potter said that some of the incidents even took place at school and at the boy's home, where the teacher reportedly lived a short while.
"Most of the time, we try to prosecute them as harshly as possible when it comes to sex crimes involving children. As far as this case, we intend to prosecute it to the fullest extent possible. As far as saying that she will get an x amount of time or anything like that, that will probably be determined by a judge," said Potter.

Course go back a scant 3-4 generations in my Dixie roots and they were having babies at 15-17 more often than not and the husband was maybe 5 years older. My maternal grandma expressed to my grandpa (RIP both) that she had no idea what he meant by sex when he mentioned it on the way home from the wedding in their buggy. Well, as she liked to retell 70 years later'''he pulled that buggy over a might quick and she got a crash course...bless her heart...14 years old. A year later my oldest uncle was born and she went from paper dolls to babies in short order. Life was different then for rural working class...no prolonged adolescence.

My great-grandfather was one of 14. I always wanted to ask him (he died when I was 4) if his parents ever let him in the house, or simply told him to "go outside."
My grandmother admitted to me before she died that she knew NOTHING about sex until my grandfather did his deed. It was a different time back then.
BTW: Consider yourself lucky. I was an OLD MAN of 19, and it was with a Puerto Rican girl in Queens.

I know why say a 28 year old male teacher might like a 16 year old but why do women that age pant for young teen boys?
Even when I was student teaching,at 21, I wasn't in the least bit attracted to the 14-18 year old students.

What is it about female Spanish teachers? I had had one who, shall we say, piqued my interest when I was in High School. Also, I had a trigonometry teacher who was a damned attractive woman. My mind would wander often in class when she wore a short skirt with black stockings...
