Foxnews just played a clip of O'Malley's statement from yesterday...saying that Bush's budget cuts are just like another 9/11 attack. I didn't know this guy was so extreme.

Well, the left may have some that are pretty on the outside, but if they are on the inside too, they do what you did and wise up! Ha ha.

Actually - if someone with the technical skill and necessary access to the network (an "at work" IT staff member) had decided in advance to trace activity for the "at work" network to FR it would be VERY EASY to determine exactly what had been posted and who had posted it. I believe that activity would be quite illegal unless it was done at the direction of a manager with sufficient authority (an illegal wire tap) but it would be rather easy from a technical perspective.

I don't get what the problem is here. I read his posts and all I can come up with is, "so what?".

"Instead of trying to uncover the source of the Rather forgeries, i.e., the wrongdoers and accomplices to a serious fraud, the LA Slimes went after a whistle-blower who helped expose the fraud of Rather's reporting."

Of all the things the media does, this is probably the one that bothers me the most. Whether it was the SwiftVets, the leaked Judicial Memos, Buckhead...or anything that adversely effects the Dems, the media always ignores the substance of the message, and attacks the messanger.

This is in stark contrast to so-called Whistleblowers on the Left, whose message is not only believed...but the messenger him/herself becomes a national hero for exposing malfiecense. Democrats are described as consciencious Whistleblowers, while Republicans are threatened with criminal charges as their reputations and motives are attacked.

Ditto. But what bothers me even more is their success with this tactic.

My thoughts are that this isn't good for FR, so I'm thinking the same.

Am I missing something here?

Thank you for your response; I will try to do so. I've noticed, increasingly, since year 2000, articles postings etc that appeared via web search; are no longer there. I'm glad I archived certain articles. But these other ones, are no longer there. Certain left websites used to have fantastic web engines; which are now "limited" to search string and users. Is there a reason why? Yes. lol. I think so. But it raises two questions for me: if everything ever uttered or written about appears on the web, then any and everything can be used against a person. That's the first one; and Even if it's a "doppelganger" post.

Secondarily, dems continue to want to tax the internet. Line usage fees, etc. This then forces a line of morality, to my way of thinking.

How can lefty bloggers, etc., be so furiously against the Patriot Act as an "encroachment" upon free speach when it appears they are happily and fully capable of digging up and doing such research themselves on anyone they consider an "enemy" (political opponent). That;s what strikes me about Jeff Gannon (Gannon-gate) current situation. And "Buckhead".

The left claims such "search engines" will unfairly target "people" -- when in fact, they themselves are altogether too happy to dig up stuff on political opponents, themselves.

Moral of the story is.. as long as THEY do it: it's okay. But only for them is it okay... And a bill designed to actually catch terrorists, murderers, is NOT OKAY.

Hmm. I need to think about this somemore.

You are right on.
It took me about 15 minutes of search time to identify myself from my posts and about 45 minutes to identify another poster.
I am glad that I don't care if anyone wants to take the trouble to identify me.
If I were in business or politics, I would say nothing personal that could be used against me.

I didn't know this guy was so extreme.

^^^^^

He is rattled, because he wants to be doing anything but the Mayor of Baltimore. Possible no one but Giuliani could improve Baltimore, but O'Malley has done a terrible job.

He will say ANYTHING if it will keep him in the good graces of the Dem machine. They told him not to run against KKT in the last primary for Governor. It was 'her turn' to be Governor.

When Ehrlich defeated her, O'Malley just seemed to have a personality meltdown. I think it is because he really believes that Ehrlich is sitting in O'Malley's rightful seat, since Maryland had not elected a Republican governor since Spiro Agnew in the '60s.
