Reagan stamps are out!
USPS ^

Posted on 02/09/2005 8:18:43 AM PST by Uncledave

I'm getting a bunch for next year's xmas cards. My freinds on the left will enjoy that extra touch of holiday cheer.

And I'll be putting them on my tax returns. Maybe draw a little voice bubble above the stamp with a good Reagan tax quote.

By Christmas you'll probably have to add the 4 cent Jimmy Carter stamp to make up for the postal increase.

Interesting how they have the line through the "37". When the Clinton stamp comes out, it'll have a line through the "USA".

Of course, the advantage of the Clinton stamp is that if you lick it with your tongue, the postage is free.

How about:
"Mr. Addressee, tear open this envelope!"

Available at the Reagan Library and in Sacramento, DC and Dixon, IL today. Out nationwide tomorrow. The Postal Service hack on FNC said the highest collector value is to get them today and have them postmarked today.

on a somewhat related note, "The Reagan Letters" was on the Discovery Channel last night. It was quite the moving experience, even if his son Ron was picked to read the letters that Discovery selected for broadcast.

Revisionist MSM position: Reagan wasn't a big dummy after all, he just fooled us into thinking so.

And the Clinton stamp is extra-sticky.
