I didn't say she was ugly. Someone requested a photo of her from her youth. So I found one.

Found this tid bit.

One of the most famous individuals in Camilla's family tree is her great-grandmother, Alice Frederica Edmonstone Keppel, royal mistress to King Edward VII from 1898 until his death in 1910.

Must run in the family!

As for Shiavo/Charles they both were HINO (husband in name only) THAT was the connection. However, remember there are different types of spouse abuse. It's just that in Charles' case the scars he left Diana with weren't visible. But, that doesn't mean they weren't devastating. to her well being. In fact, sometimes the emotional and psychological scars are worse as they can take longer to heal than a black eye.

The most accurate and best comment on the whole thread.

I agree. CPB is far more suited to Prince Charles than Diana ever was. I wish them happiness.

I thought Diana was a gorgeous creature but not a person I liked,,she was exihibitionistic, immature, self centered and immensely determined to destroy that family.

Other than that, I'm sure she was a really nice person. :)

What makes you think that Charles did not have many affairs with many women? Did you not read the papers, where his servants testified that he had an affair with his Butler?... Most kings feel that it is their "divine right" to have anyone they want. King James (the one the Bible is named after) is buried right next to his boyfriend....his wife buried somewhere else!

What makes you think an unfaithful man would be faithful to his MISTRESS...and not his wife? That is silly! Look up Tiggy Legg-Bourke and find out why she was brought to tears by Diana.

It is a shame that the Brits continue to finance this debauchery. They need to "divorce" the Royal family, and take away all their titles. Like us, they need to have "No King but King Jesus!"

She cheated on her prince-boyfriend, and ended up marrying a hansome military man.

Then she cheated on that man, with the Prince.

How low must Mr. Parker-Bowles be feeling. Very emasculating to have this dog use you like a fool, in front of the whole world!

Well, this thread has over 3,300 views and the one before it over 4,000, so I guess so.

"What makes you think that Charles did not have many affairs with many women? Did you not read the papers, where his servants testified that he had an affair with his Butler?..."

So, anything said about him is true? He cheats on Di, therefore he's a homosexual? Maybe a closet terrorist, or child molester? You KNOW newspapers don't verify, they repeat rumours. Anytime someone is accused of something this horrible, I give the benefit of the doubt because the BIG LIE sells and people are aching to believe the worst because they liked Diana because she was pretty and dressed nice.

"Most kings feel that it is their "divine right" to have anyone they want. King James (the one the Bible is named after) is buried right next to his boyfriend....his wife buried somewhere else!"

"Most" Kings? Perhaps in those days "most" men felt they were free to have relations with anyone they wanted, because their wives and dependent children had no option but to stay.

"What makes you think an unfaithful man would be faithful to his MISTRESS...and not his wife?"

Because he always loved Camilla, not Diana. Had he dumped Camilla after a few sex sessions, instead of a love affair lasting 3 decades, then I would entertain the thought that he was a serial adulterer.

"It is a shame that the Brits continue to finance this debauchery. They need to "divorce" the Royal family, and take away all their titles. Like us, they need to have "No King but King Jesus!"

There we agree. And they should return the land they stole from my people in Scotland too.
Really, I am not a fan of Charles or Camilla because I oppose their fox hunting activities (and their affair). You might not think that's a good reason to take issue with someone, but that's my judgement call. I don't like adulterers either, but it is very common. At least they got married and their affair was based on love. They will have to answer to Jesus for their sins. My entire point here on this thread is that attacking Camilla for not being a beauty queen is shallow and mean.

"She was divorced and able to freely date. BIG DIFFERENCE"

Not the point. The point is the mean comments about Camilla's appearance. I called Dodi a camel to illustrate the unkindness of judging one on their physical appearance.
I never said adultery was kosher. Fact is, over half of all marrieds cheat. Instead of judging Charles on his, what about addressing the scourge of adultery here?

"Why don't you use your own words here (above) to describe why you respect Charles who married someone he didn't love and cheated on Diana."

You twisted my words around. I didn't say I respected Charles for being an adulterer. I respect that he married a woman older than him based on love, when he could very well have found a firm 25 yo virgin to marry.

"IIRC it is NOT ok. I think they do tests to make sure she is a virgin and not pregnant. So obviously it isn't ok if she had lovers prior to marriage."

You are correct, and I shouldn't have said it is ok for Christians to fornicate. I meant that it's better to fornicate than do adultery.

"As for Shiavo/Charles they both were HINO (husband in name only) THAT was the connection. However, remember there are different types of spouse abuse. It's just that in Charles' case the scars he left Diana with weren't visible. But, that doesn't mean they weren't devastating. to her well being."

Yes he left scars, but did she scar him? No one seems to care. They only want to scapegoat him for all of her problems, as if she had no part in them. Charles didn't blab to the papers, so we assume he wasn't scarred by her.

"In fact, sometimes the emotional and psychological scars are worse as they can take longer to heal than a black eye."

I agree 100%. But again I assert it takes two to ruin a marriage.

Read in the local Friday's newspaper that when Pekingese Parker met Chilly Charlie she said something to the effect: "Did you know that my ancestor was mistress to your ancester? What do you think about that?" Like Wallis Simpson, she appeared to already draw her roadmap to the title "HRH". She wants legitimacy for she and her ancestors. Both deserve each and both are sleazy as hell. Brings real importance to the monarchy. (sarc on the latter)

Yes, Charles and Camilla ruined Diana's marriage.
