The Youngs have already turned themselves into the Dog-napping lawyer. That guy's boss had the sense to nip it all in the bud.

But the Young's. No such sense. And the notion that they brought the bulk of this on themselves is foreign to them.

All they had to do was accept the apology and offer to pay the bills. That would have been the behavior of the righteous, compassionate, tolerant, peace-loving, world citizens they demand the rest of us be.
