Yeah - I thought the local news would lead with it because it has all the bizarre human factors of a 'big' story... but they are leading with the Supreme Court lifting of the Pierce smoking ban. I'm thinking about just going to a bar in Tacoma and lighting a bunch of cigarettes all at once. :~D
That's odd... since the Pierce smoking ban was effectively lifted months ago. Judge put a stay on the ban while waiting for the WASC to do their thing. I think pretty much everybody expected this ruling. It was a slam dunk.
Has their been word of a political angle on this suicide thing? I'm picturing a bunch of over-the-top DU types that have convinced themselves that the world is coming to an end because Dubya won the election.
