I can't find any press accounts of the protest in Tehran. But I'll take your word for it that it happened. But if Iranians all over the country started protesting, and maybe even stormed certain buildings in near-unison, that would work. I hope just protests will spread like wildfire. Difficult, yes, but crucial to achieving the most bloodless regime change that you can get.
But I have been seeing multiple press accounts of Iranian exiles staging protests in the last couple of days.
The future seems bright for both the USA and Iran.
If we can just delay the development of nuclear weapons long enough, say, even only a matter of months, it may be good enough.
Consider the case of the Soviet Union. Half a century ago, many thought it was us or them, that a nuclear conflict was inevitable. Now, in hindsight, we see that the Communist system collapsed, and that there was no need for World War III. Still, the Soviets propagated misery around the world, and we now live with the consequences. A nuclear Iran would be far worse and much more destabilizing. We can't keep trying to wait out Iran once it gets nuclear weapons.
