I'm happy to announce that effective at midnight tonight

Ebay does really hit the sellers with more fees than there are stars in the universe - so it seems. It tends to discourage the sale of anything much under 10-12 dollars, except from real newbies who end up paying someone, basically, to buy it that cheaply. Plus there are the rumors about paypal that are frightening, that if a seller's paypal balance/account reaches a certain amount, or he tries to transfer a certain amount, paypal just steals his money on the pretext of some 'irregularity', and the 'investigation' never concludes. They just steal it. I hope that's not true. But the things you read. I don't have much respect for their 'complaint resolution', nor that of ebay. It DOES seem as if they give lip service to that and otherwise assign no one. With that kind of mistrust and suspicion, it's a wonder they continue to shine with the business that they do. You can, after all, find some really great items on ebay. There's no question.

When I first started on eBay about 8 years ago, it was very profitable. I had some health issues that took me out of the game for several years and when I started back up some 18 months ago, I found eBay's fees had gone up and they now charge for many things that were free. Example: 10 cents (now 20 cents) for a 10 day auction!

I must admit I have not had any problems with PayPal but since eBay took over, I look each day for an increase in fees.
