Waterson looks pleasant enough considering he's pretty far left. Nice to see some libs can have some manners in the presence of the President.

I did not know that Waterson was on the left. Sorry about that because I really like his work.

Maybe the President can try wake Waterson up a bit. We can only hope.

I watched the event live on C-SPAN this afternoon. I was somewhat impressed with Waterston's reading of Lincoln's words until the performance ended. After Holzer and Waterston finished, President Bush made the comments that were quoted in the press release. At the end of the President's remarks, Harold Holzer applauded politely, as did the audience. Waterston did not.
