"Shockingly, the Christian pastors in the Philly area are silent about this case, They are afraid to speak out against the DA. "

They are probably pastors of 501c churchs and could get in trouble if they say anything. Once you dance with the devil you're his forever.

"minority ethnic group"

Exactly what "ethnic group" are they members of? I always envision an ethnic group as being like a tribe from the Amazon or something.

But the Democrats funded by a wealthy homosexual here in

Make that lesbian Muslim women--the world will be a better place.

Is it just me, or doth hate-crime legislation an ethnic divide create?

(Of or relating to a sizable group of people sharing a common and distinctive racial, national, religious, linguistic, or cultural heritage.)

By banning words, you just make them more powerful. Instead of the legislating them, we should be shouting them from the rooftops, no?

150 years ago these people would be deemed insane and put in an asylum.

As a nation we have become intolerantly tolerant of abhorrently aberrant behavior!!

Bring back the "good old" days.

Brilliantly put, sir!

Perhaps the development of somenew sort of ethnic apartheid is in order?

I'm not trying to be an ass here (that's intrinsic); we obviously just can't all get along, so why try anymore? We tried tolerance but, alas, we do not seem to be a tolerate species.

In fact, maybe we should bring back the even older, better days, when these people would be deemed insane and inserted into the new wall in the cellar. Now... to the blacksmith's; my demons are acting up and I think some drawing of the blood is in order.

I don't understand it is quite clear to any one, even first year law students that hate speech is a protected form of speech in this country. Whay the f**k is this DA doing? He should be charged with a violation of these Christian's civil rights

There was an earlier, confusingly written article which implied, mainly by a misleading headline, that the charges were dropped. They were NOT dropped, as I suggested at the time.

Although this article doesn't mention it, there is some evidence that homosexuals from the Department of Justice took part in this event, and that they used their official credentials to urge the police to arrest the Christian protestors. If so, that angle should be pursued, and they should be fired for misuse of their positions. But I'm not holding my breath.

I think this case will be thrown out. But that's not enough. Someone needs to bring suit for false arrest and violation of citizens' rights.

"Cast not your pearls before swine, for they will tear them and rend you". I have a few questions, did the Christians have a legal permit to parade? And is having a legal permit not against the Constitutional protection of having the right to meet in the public square?

I can see a law suit coming out of this too. It's not only ist amendment rights vs 1st amendment rights, it's also hate crime vs hate crime. As far as I read these legislations, religion is also covered!

The charges were not dropped altogether. The issuance of a ruling that they not be anywhere near a homosexual event was dropped.

Pennsylvania has passed hate crime legislation,in legal terms homosexuals are now a "minority ethnic group" and the Bible is "hate speech".

Yes, BUT, how can the Bible be hate speech when religion is also included in that same law?

Because you have a group of legislators writing state law with blind ambition for furthering their perverted agenda that have no respect for or completely ignorant to the United States Constitution.
