exactly. Each series sucked. They had the same lame scenarios rehashed in every series. The unnatural dialog (especially in TNG) made it look like a Shakespearean play instead of a scifi show.

Everybody thinks "The Best of Both Worlds" was so great, and all I can think of right now is that useless talking down to you as if you're an idiot dialog, such as Data saying "the emergency transporter should get us inside now", blah blah.

That was always a peeve with me, the dialog for dummies. And the same three musical notes in years 5 and 6 and 7. Every break to a commercial sounds exactly the same.

(I didn't care much for the look of the film stock either).

This guy hits several of the right notes with me. Worf turns touchy-feely, and the Borg turns into Jim Jones followers.

Am I supposed to grieve over the loss of a plastic druggie-chic looking Vulcan in a catsuit? Yeah, right.
