Dr Paul Clarke, one of the reports authors and the babys doctor at Hope hospital in Salford, Greater Manchester, said: This mother went through extreme hardship waiting to see if her baby was going to make it. She was told to expect him to die so many times. I am full of admiration for her. Can't say I admire anyone who tried so hard to kill her baby.

That's the way RU 486 works. The woman goes to the doctor twice to get two rounds of medication. She then goes home, delivers the baby when she's sitting on the toilet, most likely. She then goes BACK to the doctor so that he can make sure that ALL of the baby's body was expelled, otherwise she could get a nasty infection.
I was always wryly amused at the chutzpah of the pro-abortion people who claimed that a 24 hour waiting period was SUCH a hardship for women because she then had to make 2 trips to the abortionist, but at the same time, were arguing hard FOR RU 486 which required at least 3 trips!

My husband and I lost a baby this summer. Even after two separate doctors confirmed that my little one didn't have a heartbeat, I could not bring myself to go for a D&C.
I had two miscarriages in the past, but they were early on and were usually over in a few days. This took almost five weeks, I loss excessive amounts of blood, and was hospitalized twice - but I still refused to undergo the procedure.
I kept hoping, vainly, I know, that God would work a miracle and we'd have another blessing in our house.
How can that creature have a baby, then try three times to kill their brother, and still have the ability to look at herself in the mirror?

Good thing Jack Kevorkian or Peter Singer wasn't around.

Thank you for sharing your most personal experiences. My sister-in-law is due this summer. She has had a difficult time going to term and lost two. It has been hard for our family and we pray for the best. She had gone to a specialist who analyzed her blood and found slight deficiencies and was given some kind of hormone. There can be joy at a seemingly endless tunnel. Chin-up!

The mother ... felt that she could not cope with a second child. ... This mother went through extreme hardship waiting to see if her baby was going to make it. She was told to expect him to die so many times. How many others, due to easy abortion access and the societal blessing toward abortion, believe themselves unable to cope with the reproductive functions of their bodies, and are wrong?

So, you're telling me that the woman actually looks down in her *OWN* toilet and sees her dead baby which has been expelled from her body?
Is it me, or is this a horror right out of H.P. Lovecraft?
Psychology must be a booming profession in Europe if this is what they're doing (or am I just too sensitive?)

So, you're telling me that the woman actually looks down in her *OWN* toilet and sees her dead baby which has been expelled from her body?Yep. Now can you devise any logic that would explain how that is considered 'compassionate' for women? This is what has astounded me from day one with the push for RU 486. I know why they've been pushing, though. They want to be able to have abortions in areas where there is no one who wants to come in and do surgical abortions. This gets the other docs off the hook because they'll prescibe the RU 486 drugs, then all they have to do is check the woman when she comes back in to make sure that the entire baby has been expelled. If it hasn't, then the doctor just has to do a D&C (Dilation and Curettage), which, he can tell himself, does not make him an abortionist. Ah yes, the justifications we can make for our sinful actions.
It also removes a location where protests and rescues might possibly take place, so they don't have to deal with those fanatic anti-abortion folks! ;o)

I'm fine and dandy, just envying y'all your winter warmth (all relative, I know). We still have snow on the ground from three storms ago! Thankfully, when we replaced Sir SuziQ's car this fall, he got the older minivan, and we got me a 2003 Chrysler Town and Country minivan with All Wheel Drive!! That has been such a blessing, since I drive our son to high school every day, even when it's slushy! I haven't had the first bit of problem with slipping or sliding, which I still had, even in the older front wheel drive minivan.

"Clarke reveals that paediatricians often intervene to save babies who have survived abortions." So he's a baby that survived the effort by the serial killer? Well,
when was he a baby? ... BINGO! He was a baby when the killer was trying to kill him! Thus endeth the lesson.
[BTW, this paradox is an excellent illustration of just how twisted and morally bankrupt society becomes when it tries to justify the indefensible, over and over and over again, with nothing but lies and utilitarian demagoguery.]
