Nope, nor do I play one on tv. It's just common sense that a verdict of Justifiable Homicide would gut any chance of a "wrongful" (ie, unjustifiable) death suit. The police do not have the authority to declare an incident self defense, legally, and a DA which declined to prosecute would provide some cover, but far less than a grand jury verdict would...
