I thought I might pass this along to you for consideration to your PING List although as you can see from my reply #19, I sure don't owe Brian Craig any favors. That guy can be NASTY. Hey, once I even called up and asked Brian if it might be possible for them to place an audio of Steve Kane's interview with Bev Harris on their website which I thought was one of the best interviews I ever heard on the radio. Did I get some thanx for my compliment? No. Brian practically read me the riot act as he expained that they don't place audio files on their website. Uh, sorry, Brian. PLEAVE FORGIVE ME for saying that Steve's interview with Bev Harris was one of the best (and funniest) radio interviews ever.

Liberals fear a conservative man. Liberals are scared sh*tless of a black conservative man or woman.

Happens all of the time in Memphis. I attend a mega Baptist church here and we are seeing more and more Blacks in our services. They are welcome and it really takes a strong person to go against the Black ministers and vote their conscious.

Brian is nasty and incoherent nasty sometimes. When I'm in the car I always turn off their 8 minute blocks of advertisements.

The "sea change" is afoot big time. Blacks are finally realizing that the Democrat "slavery" Party will only continue to keep them in both economic and opportunity bondage. Will you come be a guest speaker in my inner city classroom in Miami, FL? I don't think my students have gotten that message at all.

Please FORGIVE me, Brian Craig, for helping to publicize a story concerning your radio show! I am considering calling your show right now with the good news that the Blackwell story just made it bigtime on the BIGGEST forum on the Web and will likely get lots of national publicity. However, I don't want to be called an "Agenda Caller" again. I am sort of working my way up to the exalted rank of "Chronic Caller" instead.

The latest is that cemetery in Boca where you don't get buried, you get put away in an above ground filing cabinet. LOL! I swear I had the same thought when I heard that commercial. And what's with all that concern about where you get buried (or filed)? Hey, when I'm dead they can freeze dry me for all I care. In fact, I am thinking of doing something useful and just donating my body so at least my eyes could be used as implants or something like that. The irony would be if I kicked the bucket before Brian and he loses his radio voice and has to get my vocal chords. Then Brian would be talking on the radio with the voice of an "Agenda Caller" (now working my way up to the exalted rank of "Chronic Caller").

How do you get excommunicated from a Baptist church?? There are zillions of Baptist churches. He could just go to another one, even, dare I say it, one of a mixed congregation. They would welcome him.

Any "church" that would excommunicate me because of my political affiliation wouldn't have to. I'd run away faster than a frightened Frenchman.

There are zillions of Baptist churches. He could just go to another one... I did notice a Baptist Church near Pompano Beach on Atltantic Ave. near State Rd. 7. The main reason why I remember it is because I saw a sign out front of it once advertising an upcoming yard sale. Until then I didn't know Baptist Churches do yard sales. However, there is a Methodist Church in Pompano Beach that does monthly flea markets so I guess now the Baptist do the same. Don't know about the Baptist yard sale but I have been to the Methodist Church flea market since they sometimes have good deals on used books.

If membership in the Democratic party is required for church membership, wouldnt that somehow affect the churches non profit status? Where do we report this?

This is venturing fairly close to an IRS problem with their tax exempt status. I think it comes up short because there is not a specific candidate involved, but it certainly viloates the spirit.

Keep in mind the degree to which black churches are counted on by the DNC to "get out the vote".
It would be interesting to see where the main funding of that church came from, and what quid-pro-quo may have been expected for that funding, and whether the thought of losing funding was on anybody's mind among the leadership

"If he does change his party registration, and is ousted from the church, it could create a controversy over whether or not a non-profit, religious organization is allowed to intervene in such a matter."
Here is the problem with the press. Does it really need to be legal problem? Isn't it enough that such coercion is a moral problem.
I hope this man has the moral courage to stick to his principles in the face of such opposition.

This is truly sad commentary..when a church makes being a democrat like a tenet of "faith".They are a church only in name and building. They are a political organization. This is their "faith".Teachings of Jesus only interfere in their mission to advance a socialist agenda.

How true. A letter writing campaign to this "church" is in order.
It's not a church as defined by Christ if it is behaving in this way. In fact because of it's admission of political affiliation, it no longer can be tax exempt either.
To: tribble; mhking
Steve Kane, host of the Steve Kane Show, questioned if he had been bribed. If he does change his party registration, and is ousted from the church, it could create a controversy over whether or not a non-profit, religious organization is allowed to intervene in such a matter.
If by the above, they mean "is the church allowed to get involved in member's politics" then the answer is "Of course they can." We don't need the government telling churches who their leaders can or cannot be.
They can kick him out of any church position they like for any reason they like.
"Nor restricting the free exercise thereof..."
If folks don't like the church's decision then don't attend that church.
