Original AIDS is (despite the media) surprisingly hard to catch- hetero males/females are very rare (ask any nurse with no political agenda)

I heard it was 3 months to gor from infection to full blown AIDS. If so then there is a small time frame window to infect others. Nope. It takes about 3 months from the time you get infected with HIV for tests to be able to detect that you're infected. So in fact, there is PLENTY of time to infect many people before you even know you have it.
