I don't mean to be disrespectful but that sounds very snobbish to me. In real America a lot of professional people have worked their way thru a Jr. college and then transferred and worked their way thru a university education. IMO what you earn you appreciate more. It's easy to take Daddy's check but it builds character when you put yourself thru school. If this girl believes her father is wrong then she should not be holding her hand out for his money. Kids think we "owe" them an education. We really don't.
It may be snobbish but it's a fact. Her career prospects are MUCH brighter coming from Brown than from a Junior College.
