It is eye opening. He is bullish on the proposed reforms. FYI, Dave Ramsey is a radio talkshow host of a show that give financial advice from Christian principles.

Dave should be required listening for anyone who is about 15-20 years old....
To: GeorgiaFreeper
His calculator doesn't account for the $1,000 cap through 2009.
To: HamiltonJay
So we shouldn't listen if we are older than that?

Both Bush and Ramsey will need to be a lot clearer than they have been in selling the idea....which am, incidently, highly in favor of!

Dave Ramsey rocks. I'm a nightly (tape delayed) listener. Dave is also a very solid conservative.

After you run the calculation for your income and plan selected, the results page has a "Breakdown of the Current Social Security System" and there is a link to see what your retirement benefits would be under the current social security plan.
Click on the link that reads "Check Your Current Social Security Retirement Projection".

My local radio station here in the Northeast just started carrying his show on Sunday afternoons. I like his style and his advice is straightforward common sense. I'm going to check out his website.

Are you speaking from experience, or was that on his website?
A Net 90 payment policy is a little harsh. I am on a Net 30 payment schedule with my clients and think that sucks...

I live in Nashville where Dave Ramsey is located.
His show and teachings have dramatically changed my life for the better. As of this week, my wife and I will be debt free other than our house due to Dave's program.
I could not recommend him more.
Besides the great financial advice, Dave is as genuine a good as they come.

You should have sent them a copy of Leviticus 19:13
Do not defraud your neighbor or rob him.
Do not hold back the wages of a hired man overnight
