Just out of curiosity, if the region is uninhabited, how were there witnesses? And how did they see an aircraft fire a missile 12 miles away?

Is this in addition to the blast that occurred earlier?
To: Valin
"Earlier today, Iranian Intelligence Minister Ali Younessi confirmed the presence of "American spying instruments" in the skies over Iran and warned that they would be hit. However, he spoke of satellites rather than spy planes."So now these blustering fools claim to have the capability to shoot down satellites?
You just can't make this stuff up!

It's confusing, but there are 2 Dailams. One in north by Caspian in a mountainous area, and one in south.
This explosion was supposedly in south.

and witnesses reported seeing a missile being fired from an unidentified plane,Oh, I'm sure the FBI will determine that it's just a center fuel tank exlosion. < /sarcasm>

This was in the south, not too far from the coast.
I think :-)
The other Dailam is in Kurdish territory in the north of Iran....
Or so I think :-)

But what's interesting, especially if you're wearing your tin foil hijab, is that northern areas have had several protests in past 6 months or so. You could develop lots of theories for a story like this. AND there is a nuke facility also up there (Chalus) though a bit far from Daylam.
Okay, take off your tin foil hijab now. ;~ )

FOX reported that "witnesses" saw the missile fired from an "unknown plane" 12 miles away... uh, how can "witnesses" see something 12 miles away? Heh...

Well, which is it? A missile or a gas tank that dropped off? Iran: Should we a)poll the audience (Al Jazeera); b) do a 50/50 (blame US or Israel?) or c) use our lifeline (call our friends the SYRIANS)?
To: Valin
If we go after Iran and Syria we can expect more decent from liberals in America. Liberals don't like their socialist comrades dis-empowered
To: princess leah
"c) use our lifeline (call our friends the SYRIANS)?"
In this instance, they may call their friends the N. Koreans. They seem to have similar unexplained explosions.
