... "Senator Kerry has offered to meet privately with President Bush to discuss foreign policy before Bush flies abroad next week and has meetings with key European leaders. Kerry..." No, I'm not kidding. Kerry actually called Bush and said he "offered to get together with him to discuss foreign affairs." I guess because Kerry just got back from there, and Kerry wanted to talk with Bush. "The offer has fallen on deaf ears at the White House. Kerry spokesman David Wade said yesterday, 'We've offered to have Senator Kerry meet with President Bush to discuss his trip to Iraq, if the White House is interested. There are many areas where genuine bipartisanship would make a difference in leading our country forward, whether in national security or children's health care. As of last night Kerry had not received any response from the White House,'" which is good. They're ignoring him. Why should they? Why should they meet with Kerry? Why even ask this? Well, I can understand from Kerry. I mean, it's typical of who he is. Now, this is sort of a follow-up story to yesterday in which we had the story for you that John Kerry had decided to go ahead and vote for President Bush's latest supplemental request of $81.9 billion for Afghanistan and Iraq". ...

Kerry: No Time for Terror Briefing, Teresa Opposes Abortion
On the campaign trail, Sen. John Kerry insists that he would do a better job fighting the war on terror than President Bush. But the Massachusetts Democrat admitted Thursday night that he hasn't been able to find the time to accept the Bush administration's offer to give him an intelligence briefing.
"Well, I haven't been briefed yet," he told CNN's "Larry King Live." "They have offered to brief me; I just haven't had time."
(snip)
Kerry still gasping for relevance I see.
Gasp, choke-choke, GASP!!!
I do not listen to Imus anymore.
I did listen to him for a long time.
Ultimately, His calling Kerry his man during the campaign caused him to lose at least one listener, Yours truly.
Kerry is a scumbag, and still he is one of the two best US senators from my home state.
I am sure that I must be the object of envy for many FReepers.
Kerry's senate seat is up in 2006.
Corsi (author of Unfit for Command) has announced plans to challenge Kerry.
And .. Since Dole's wife has made it into the Senate - Bob has sort of stepped back into the background. A true gentleman.
Kerry's senate seat is up in 2006.
Nope, his Senate seat is up in 2008. That is why his only chance was 2004 for the White House. He (currently) cannot run for both offices in this state in 2008!
The Mass legislature could change that rule by 2008. They indeed changed certain rules last year anticpating a Kerry White House win.
Hillary will get the Democrat nod in 2008, and that has been a given for just about a decade now! Kerry's only chance was in 2004!
The politicians in the 1 Party Massachusetts legislature suck oh so very much.

Phooey .. I thought all those idiots from the NE were up in 2006 and it was going to be a good chance to rid the senate of them. Maybe it's Kennedy who's up in 2006 ..??
It takes more than prayer - it takes foot power. Make up some flyers and go door to door. Get people to go with you - make it a day long project and have a hot dog cookout when you're done. All you need is 8-10 people and a few clever flyers to hand out.
LOL.
The gall of Kerry. He has the most over-inflated sense of his accomplishments, which are virtually nill, of anyone I can think of.
a keeper!
hahahahahahaha!
In November 62 million people said "No EFFEN way". This is why you're still a junior Senator, Junior. You can take your global test and go stifle yerself.
Nope. I think AuH2O returned again in a couple of years. It was McGovern.
McGovern.
doh.
Lol.
