SAN DIEGO – An America West jet was evacuated because of a bomb threat from a passenger at Lindbergh Field in San Diego on Thursday, authorities said.
The threat was reported around 7:10 a.m.
At least 17 people were evacuated from the plane, which remains on the tarmac.
The San Diego Police department's bomb squad is en route to investigate. No injuries were reported.
