Secularists Strike Back

How the Liberals Will Promote ‘Blue’ Churches

[Cue the Darth Vader theme] ACW II isn’t over. 48% of the U.S. did not have an epiphany and conversion experience after President Bush’s election. The Liberals will strike back. Their front ranks will be filled with clerical collars. ‘Blue’ churches like Blue states will be the base for counter-attacks on ‘value voters’ on many fronts. The blue churches are the Religious Left – mainline Protestant churches with declining membership, lapsed, cafeteria Catholics and secular Jews. And all the other Pagan faithful who are ‘spiritual not religious’, Wiccan, Vegan, etc.

The Liberals will come back hard, because they’re infuriated that their moral inferiors, Bible-believing Christians and Jews, were the margin of their defeat – in the name of morality. They can’t believe that it isn’t enough to own the Democrats, most of the Judges, colleges and universities, K-12 government schools, the mainstream media, the non-profit foundations, Hollywood and most big corporations. Despite all, the peasants didn’t vote the values of the Liberal trinity – Race, Class and Gender.

Set out sentries to watch for this gathering attack.

Right Religion. Religion and religious leaders will be applauded if it’s the right religion. Expect to see a lot more leftist, Liberal clerical collars at Democrat events, in the media and promoted by Hollywood. Likewise, the Black churches still serving on the Democrat plantation will be exalted as paragons of virtue.

Liberals will marginalize Protestant Christian Evangelicals. Especially, Southern Baptists and the Assembly of God. First, Liberals will call them Fundamentalists and liken to the Muslim Fundamentalists. Even though an Islamist will kill Liberals’ families and cut off their heads, while a Baptist will get on his knees to pray for Liberals and rise to eat fried chicken. Second, the Liberals will point out the many southern accents of Evangelicals. The accusation in the Heartland and the West will be there is exclusiveness akin to racism in saying that all religions are not true and equal – it’s those Southern bigots again.

Capture the Language. Value voters are told they voted for ‘fear’. How clever to call resistance to judicial tyranny, that imposes partial-birth abortion, cultural cleansing of Christian heritage and homosexual marriage, ‘fear’. Values voting was courageous faith over fears. There will be more attempts, however false, like ‘pro-choice’, ‘tolerance’, etc., to make Christian speech, metaphors and concepts serve Secular Humanist masters and their Modern Paganism.

More Moral Values. The Liberals may legitimately finesse some Roman Catholics away with an anti-capital punishment value. Also, Liberals may emphasize the Pope’s resistance to pre-emptive wars like Iraq. But, for the most part, there will be yard sale on moral values. Old ideas will be sold anew. Poverty, the environment, affirmative action, health care, immigration, multi-culturalism, and the aforementioned capital punishment and war and peace issues will all become morality issues. It can convince Americans who are Biblically illiterate.

Exploit Failures. The inevitable failures and setbacks in the next four years during the decades upon decades unfolding of WW IV will be blamed on the Christian Evangelism mindset of President Bush and the NeoCons (read anti-Semitism). Any economic down turn, oil crisis, hardship for unemployed and uninsured illegal immigrants, etc. will be held up as hypocrisy to moral values. The Liberals will mock every tragedy as a testimony to the failure of Christian morality.

Camouflage the Truth. The Liberals won’t show themselves as Liberal Puritans. They will hide behind the Sissy Christians of the Apostate Christian congregations. The very persons, who preach ‘Christian’ morality, follow the teachings of totalitarianism. The line of thinking that flows Diocletian-Rousseau-Voltaire-Hegel-Marx-Darwin-Nietzche-Lenin-Freud-Stalin-Hitler-Mao-Castro-Pol Pot is the path of pagan reasoning, which is Human Secularist Totalitarianism. This ‘Humanist’ Totalitarianism is a killing cousin to Islamist Totalitarianism.

The Liberal Puritans are the intellectually arrogant and temperamentally authoritarian descendants of Cotton Mather. The stronghold of Liberal Puritanism is witch-burning Massachusetts. The Christian Evangelical majority is the South and West. The Evangelicals inherit the tolerance of Cavaliers, who lost the English Civil War to the Puritans, and the fierce independence and personal, Bible-based faith of the Scot-Irish, Scot, and French Huguenot Calvinists.

The final irony is how Christian Evangelicals are more motivated by love. Liberal Puritans can’t tell the difference between our passion and their hate because their words are the overflow of their hearts. Who will burn a dissenter at the stake? The Blue churches who say Biblical Christian speech is hate speech and a crime? Or, Red churches who send missionaries, who are martyred regularly, to Muslim countries?

How prophetic James Atticus Bowden was. Just check this current article, "Watch For The Religious Left Sock Puppets On TV And Radio!" It is on the Traditional Values Coalition's website, and confirms Bowden's predictions from immediately after the November election.

Excerpt:

"Liberals have tapped leftist author Jim Wallis of Sojourners to take to the airwaves to promote liberal ideas as being “biblical” and “moral values.” In addition, a front group founded by atheist billionaire George Soros has poured money into the Clergy Leadership Network, a Kentucky-based organization of National Council of Churches liberals to push a leftist social and political agenda.

Rev. Sheldon describes these religious left leaders and organizations as “sock puppets” for George Soros who has publicly stated his hatred for Christianity. Soros’ Open Society Institute is involved in hundreds of projects designed to promote abortion, homosexuality, and to undermine national sovereignty.

The Center for American Progress headed by secularist John Podesta, is another group heavily funded by Soros. CAP will be holding seminars throughout the U.S. to strategize on how to use religious verbiage to fool Americans into voting for liberalism."

Well, we can always count on important and numerous flock of Bacchus worshipers. When deep in their ceremonies, they are impervious to leftism [both religious and secular] and to almost everything else besides. And they are many.

Here is one of the liberal angles on their view of the "moral highroad:" Corvallis Gazette-Times (excerpted) http://www.gazettetimes.com/articles/2005/02/17/news/community/thuloc05.txt Churches unite for the environment By Carol Reeves Gazette-Times reporter Leaders send ‘God's Mandate' as message to Congress Four local church leaders are among 88 from Oregon and more than 1,000 religious leaders nationwide who want to remind the Bush administration and Congress that when it comes to protecting the environment the mandate that comes from God is more important than any they might receive from various religious groups. In a statement titled "God's Mandate: Care for Creation" released Feb. 11, representatives from a variety of faith communities are calling on lawmakers to reconsider actions they believe will "reverse and obstruct programs that protect God's creation in our land and across the planet." The document specifically calls for a review of the president's "Clear Skies" initiative — which leaders say will weaken the Clean Air Act — as well as the administration's energy policy, the SSuperfund toxic waste program and proposed changes in the Endangered Species Act. It also expresses disappointment in the United States' absence from the Kyoto global warming treaty which took effect Wednesday.... ...The local Methodist congregation voted Feb. 6 to adopt the Natural Step framework as the basis for all its decisions that might have an impact on the environment. The Natural Step is a non-profit, international organization dedicated to helping businesses, schools, government and other institutions adopt ecological, social and economic policies leading to global sustainability... ...Sister Kathy Carr, social justice coordinator at St. Mary's Catholic Church, is another of the locals to sign up. She explained that St. Mary's belongs to Ecumenical Ministries' Interfaith Network for Earth Concerns and frequently educates parishioners about environmental issues. "I feel very strongly that matters of the environment are moral issues that have to be dealt with n they're issues of life and death," she said....

Here's something that I just read by Matthew Holmes' most recent column.

"The only problem, of course, is that liberals are atheistic, secularist, anti-gun, French-looking sissies, who don't believe in killing anything unless it has not yet been born.

Liberals are banking their future success on tricky word play and patronizing red-state America in order to weasel their way back into power in "flyover country."

If it didn't work for John Kerry—who happily took both sides of every issue in the 2004 presidential election—what makes them think a leftist radical with Foot-in-Mouth disease like Howard Dean can pull it off?

Not to worry, liberals say.

Bruce Reed, president of the Democratic Leadership Council, said: "The job of party chair is different from party nominee. The party chair needs to be an ardent partisan. You can't send a vegetarian to do a red-meat job."

Apparently, Reed did not do well on the analogy portion of the SAT.

Sending Howard Dean to convert Southern conservatives is like sending liberal Senator and KKK Grand Kleagle Robert Byrd to teach a class on Black History Month, or asking Ted Kennedy to deliver the keynote speech for the American Sobriety Council.

Anyway, if liberals wanted a real partisan, why not tap somebody with international influence, like Fidel Castro or Kim Jong-Il?

It seems even Dean himself is willing to overlook the obvious, saying, "That's frankly why George Bush was successful, because he gave the 'appearance' that he had some deep-seated convictions. If you want to excite people in politics...you've got to be a party of convictions."

Or in Dean's case, a party with the "appearance" of convictions."

Wow. Beautiful. I'm not Christian but this just makes me more committed to defending Christians against the anti-Christian intolerance and hatred coming from the Left.

The problem is not so much "do they have any followers (and they do - millions all over the globe). The problem is who is it that the liberal priests, rabbis, ministers, and gurus are following?

This movement is bigger than you could ever imagine. Soros has been a big part of it for years, but he is only one of many. It is so big that it could bring down the Church.
