At the official site of the Belgian Flemish Socialist Party, the creative young socialists have designed “urinoir-stickers” to be placed in urinals—featuring a caricature of President Bush.

This is an all time low...even for Belgium...and they wonder why America has such a low opinion of Europe.

Their own political leadership is rife with child molesters and murderers and yet they are focused on President Bush.

Belgians are gay.

Speaking as someone who briefly lived in Belgium - if you want to create real offense, tell the Flemish and the Walloons you cannot tell them apart. Alternatively, confuse the Flemish with the Dutch, and the Walloons with the French.

Well; like the phrasing of that. . .America having such a low opinion of Europe; instead of the other way around; which really is more than tiresome.

As for the stickers. . .crude; rude and more degrading to those who enjoy them. . .

In the meantime. . .I don't know. . .no more Belgian chocolate?

That's nothing new... They've had those for years in every bathroom at NYU. Just above is a sign that reads "Don't eat the big pink cookie".

I used to drink imported beer, but now I'm so disgusted by most of Europe that I drink domestic stuff, and make up for the missing "whallop" with Makers Mark.

That you should go to a socialist website and claim that they speak for belgians and or Euros in general is wrong and misrepresentation.

In Norway, the radical left is the same way but they speak for 1% of Norwegian society and maybe half of that when you consider people that pay taxes.

Quick quesion, how are they going to know the stickers are in the urinals? 'cause when I was in belgium, they were always on the side of the road or in an alley peeing against a wall...just askin'

I live here so I know what the media, both in print and TV news say on a daily basis...the government here is controlled by the Wallons (French-speaking) and it is all anti-everything America. I am lucky to be living in the Flanders (dutch-speaking) area of Belgium since they are at least trying to break away from the 'French' rule.

Doesn't bother me. We would do the same with a Belgian leader--if there were any Belgian leaders that anyone outside of their immediate families would recognize.

I suppose in a pinch though, we could substitute the armpit hair of a Frenchyfrench whore, in honor of Belgium's role and standing in the EU.

Good point. I used to drive across Belgium to Zeebrugge to take the chanel ferry. I was always told never speak Flemish to a Walloon, or French to the Flemish - that English was the only safe language. That was fine since I speak neither French nor Flemish. I also had some Dutch friends who said they were always treated badly by the Flemish (their cousins) and worse by the Walloons. In general they tried to avoid Belgium.
