He's not only my Senator, he's from right here in my hometown, Mobile. A truly fine man.
I just love it that he's in the Senate now...Papa Bush nominated him for the circuit court back when he was our Atty Gen. But the Rats on the Judiciary Committee defeated him because of his strong Christian values (you know the code). He came back home, ran successfully for the Senate and now he sits among them on the GOP-run Judiciary Committee. It's great when he gets to lecture them on their hate tactics.
