Another name for pinto beans.
Recently, I've discovered Anastazi (sp?) beans. A speckled purple & white bean with an 'eye' like a black-eyed pea.
Tastes like a pinto, but with a richer flavor.
I'm not sure we get Anastazi (sp?) beans here in Panama, but I will look for them because we get everything else to include Pinto beans. Thank you for the heads up.
