Sounds like she was addressing a group of environmentalist extremists, and was telling them that Kerry in fact supported their wacko positions on "sustainability" - meaning severe restrictions on free markets - but the press failed to get the message out.
If that is true, then Teresa should THANK the press. If the truth about Kerry's environmental extremism had been exposed, he would have lost by an ever wider margin.
Just what I was thinking. The leftist media stayed away from reporting anything that wouldn't have mainstream appeal, in their attempt to get their candidate elected (regardless of his actual views).
He also promised in an MTV interview that he would make the US sign Kyoto. Not one word from anybody over that one.
