MOSCOW. Feb 21 (Interfax) - An al Qaeda member known as Abu Dzeit has been killed in the Russian internal republic of Ingushetia.

"A joint operation with the Interior Ministry was conducted in a private house in a village in Ingushetia on February 16," spokesman for the Federal Security Service Sergei Ignatchenko told reporters on Monday.

"The operation first resulted in the death of two of his accomplices. Abu Dzeit hid in a special bunker built under the house. When the entrance was discovered, he blew himself up," Ignatchenko said.

He said investigators identified the body as Abu Dzeit's.

I was going to say he 'Blowed up real well'. But they could still identify him. He could have done better.

Russia has been under brutal terrorist assault by al Queda for years. You would think they had more common sense than to nuclear arm the IslamoFascists. Must be massive bribes flowing to the mafia/KGB thugs who run Russia.

Yeah, that news from Iraq came out yesterday.

Another feel-good story:

Africa: Kenya arrests three terror suspects with alleged Al Qaeda links

[Africa News]: Kenyan authorities have arrested three men with alleged links to Osama bin Laden’s Al Qaeda on suspicion of plotting terrorist attacks in the east African nation, a senior police official said Monday.

The trio - a Sudanese national and two Kenyans - were detained on Saturday in northeast Kenya near the border with lawless Somalia...

“We got a hint from sources I cannot disclose now of their involvement in terrorism activities and links to bin Laden,” the official told AFP on condition of anonymity. “The investigation is continuing.”

Dead is the language these pukes best understand.

It certainly prevents them from being set free by some terrorist-enabling judge or sympathetic prison guard. However, I don't mind if one terrorist from each group survives - at least for the short term - in order to provide beneficial intelligence to our forces.

Firstly, you are correct regarding Russia being under attack from alQueda for years. Secondly, there is a major difference between the light-water reactor Russia is selling Iran and the heavy water variety, which can produce nuclear weapons. You might recall Clinton gave North Korea two light water reactors. Russia is also demanding Iran return the spent fuel for reprocessing. Thirdly, let's not be too hard on Russia for having a Mafia. The Mafia in Russia compares to what we had in America during the forties, and the connections between the mob and FSB are loose. The little Kansas City mob controlled most of the casinos in Vegas until the late eighties. Let's give Russia time to correct these problems.
