Actually I do think there is a relevance between the professors/teachers and the unions. What enables a professor to think he/she can teach whatever political slant they want without the risk of getting suspended or even fired. Why shouldn't a person be fired after getting tenure if they are not doing their job correctly?? This question is directed at you, infide144. I would like to see your response.

Sorry, Cosmo, this doesn't even begin to fly- The Catholic priest thing was almost or completely PERVERT MALE ON BOY SEX. What the current discussion is about, in case you don't really get it is NATURAL MALE/ FEMALE relationships. Maybe you don't get the difference.  >>>>

It's not natural for teachers to prey on other people's children in school.  That's why we have laws against this sort of thing.   Parents don't expect their children to be abused by their children's teachers where they're supposed to be getting an education.  The difference is that the MSM isn't launching an attack on the public schools as they did the Catholic church.  Roughly 2% of the priests in the USA abused Children where the bishops did the wrong thing by transferring them to new parishes so they "a select few" could do more abuse raising the recidivism rates.  Nor did the MSM point out that the rate of abuse in the Protestant faiths was about the same as the catholic church.

Children are being abused en masse in the public schools daily, by teachers and coaches yet the press doesn't give as much publicity as the church scandal.

There is a female teacher in a Bureau County, Illinos school that is involved with an underage male student. She was charged last week. It hasn't received any national publicity. She is an attractive married "lady" with children.

Purvis indicted on more charges

By Barb Kromphardt BCR Staff
PRINCETON, ILLINOIS -- The Bureau County grand jury has returned indictments on four additional charges against Gina Purvis.

Purvis, formerly of Tiskilwa, now living in Oswego, was indicted Wednesday on four counts of the Class 1 felonies of criminal sexual assault.

Purvis, a teacher at Hall High School in Spring Valley, was first indicted Dec. 15 by a Bureau County grand jury on one count of the Class 2 felony of aggravated criminal sexual abuse with a 15-year-old male student.

The December indictment came five weeks after Hall officials reported information about the case to the Spring Valley Police Department. The indictment said the sexual abuse allegedly happened, in part, on the property of Hall High School in February.

In the indictments returned Wednesday, Purvis was accused of committing acts of sexual conduct with a Bureau County male between the age of 13 and 17 between Feb. 13 and April 9.

Bureau County State's Attorney Pat Herrmann refused to comment on the additional charges other than to say they stemmed from an ongoing investigation regarding the same student.

Purvis had faced three to seven years in prison if convicted of the single count charge, which is also punishable by any combination of probation, jail time, fines and/or community service. The additional charges are punishable by four to 15 years mandatory incarceration, per charge.

Purvis' attorney, Steven Glink of Chicago, said the additional indictments were not unexpected.

"Based on past practices, I'm not surprised they brought additional charges," he said. "They are not based on anything new."

Glink said he and Purvis' other attorneys, James May of Princeton and Nicholas Espositio of Chicago, continue to believe Purvis is innocent.

"After the trial, the judge or jury will find her innocent, too," he said.

Purvis' bond was left the same, and she remained free on the amount already posted.

The fact is that the MSM hates the RCC and is in bed with the liberal teaching establishment. You will see an article about the abuse involving a teacher or coach then that will be it, the story will die out. Teacher abuse is an epidemic in this country. There used to be freepers who logged many of the abuse threads and if you look at the heartland.org articles you will see how bad it is. Also, the MSM has focused on the RCC as a whole and has yet to compile stories from around the country regarding teachers.

Muhammad. That jerk married a woman 15 years older than him. Hope that tells you what Islam is all about."""

Muhammend married a woman older than him? If that's true, why, in and of itself, is it a crime ? And why is it an indictment of Islam?

All I can say about all these crimes being committed by teachers in our schools is:

God Save Our Children!
